Join us on December 15th for an exclusive webinar providing details on implementing the new labor noticing rules for public contracting established by AB 339.

Hosted by RCRC in partnership with the California State Association of Counties, League of California Cities, Urban Counties of California and California Special Districts Association, this free session will offer both policy context and a technical breakdown of the new requirements for contracting under the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act (MMBA), along with strategies for implementation.

Effective January 1, 2026, AB 339 updates the MMBA by establishing new formal notice and procedural requirements for local public agencies related to contracting. For any contracting decision involving services within the scope of work for any represented employees, management must now adhere to a minimum of 45 days’ written notice to the affected employee organization before issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotes (RFQ), or renewing or extending an existing service contract.

Registration for this webinar is required. Please register by Friday, December 12th.

Date: Monday, December 15th

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
