On Wednesday, May 18th, Senator Dianne Feinstein along with Senators Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Arizona) introduced the Support to Rehydrate the Environment, Agriculture and Municipalities (STREAM) Act (S.4231). In combination with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, this bill would provide California with more than 1 million additional acre-feet of water per year on average, enough water for more than 6 million Californians. A one-page summary of the bill is available here; a section-by-section analysis of the bill is available here; and a list of supporters of the bill is available here.
