GSCA Update – August 2025
Draft bid packages for Golden State Connect Authority’s (GSCA) broadband infrastructure projects have been prepared and shared with local government staff in each awarded jurisdiction to capture any unique local requirements. These bid packages outline the specifications and requirements for contractors who will build out GSCA’s FFA Last Mile broadband network. The work is being completed in advance of the upcoming bond issuance, which will mark the official launch of the program.
By finalizing bid packages now, GSCA is positioning network construction to begin quickly once funding is secured. Release of the finalized packages is anticipated in late summer.
