The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) announced upcoming public forums for PG&E customers to share feedback on the utility’s proposed 2027 General Rate Case (GRC). PG&E is seeking an 8 percent increase in revenues—approximately $1.24 billion more than 2026—to support system safety, reliability, and modernization. If approved as requested, the average residential customer would see an increase on their bills of about 3.6 percent beginning in 2027, through 2030. However, as of September 2025, the CPUC also reports that PG&E is requesting over $2 billion more from customers across 15 other proceedings, combined.
