RCRC, along with CSAC, Cal Cities, and Stop Waste, will host a webinar on Wednesday, January 28th at 9:30 a.m., to help local governments better understand SB 54 (Allen, 2022): California’s Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act.
The webinar will break down the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law’s key requirements, discuss where the state is currently in the implementation and regulatory process, and explore real-world impacts on cities and counties. Participants will also learn how local governments can effectively engage in implementation activities and advocate for their communities’ interests.
