Time: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Join Children Now for a webinar on how you can use the 2026 California Children’s Report Card to support kids in your community. The webinar will provide an overview of the findings in the Report Card; trends in children’s health, early childhood, education, and child welfare; and opportunities for local and state advocates to work together to build power, amplify community voices, and improve children’s outcomes.
The 2026 California Children’s Report Card is the most comprehensive report on children’s well-being in our state. Developed by Children Now, the Report Card grades the State on its ability to support better outcomes for kids, from prenatal to age 26, across 30 key children’s issues, including health, education, child welfare, online safety, and early childhood.
Each section of the Report Card includes policy recommendations that can guide the development and enactment of a Pro-Kid whole-child agenda.
Speakers: Ted Lempert, President of Children Now; Kelly Hardy, Senior Managing Director, Health & Research; Jurnee Louder, Senior Research Associate; Lishaun Francis, Senior Director of Behavioral Health; Vince Stewart, Vice President of Policy and Programs; Stacy Lee, Chief Learning Officer and Senior Managing Director of Early Childhood; Susanna Kniffen, Senior Managing Director of Child Welfare and Government Relations
