The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is asking California residents to share their experiences with internet access in order to update its Interactive Broadband Map. Feedback can be provided on broadband speeds and technology that does not match what is cited by the provider at a specified location.
The California Interactive Broadband Map shows where broadband service is available, what speeds are offered, and which providers serve each area. The map also helps determine funding eligibility for broadband infrastructure grants through the California Advanced Services Fund and informs public policies that guide the state’s efforts to bridge the digital divide. Information on how to provide feedback can be found here.
