Groundbreaking for a Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) took place in Mendocino County, California on Aug. 21, 2024. The facility will provide 16 beds for acute mental health patient care and is due to be completed in the fall of 2025. This project, along with a Crisis Residential Treatment facility and a mental health training facility, are funded by a sales tax that the residents of Mendocino County approved. The PHF will also be funded with Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program grant funds.
