- Governor Brown Appoints Two to State Water Resources Control Board
Today Governor Brown announced two appointments to the State Water Resources Control Board, both of whom require Senate confirmation and each of whom will earn $128,109: 1) Felicia Marcus of Emeryville, has served as western director at the Natural Resources Defense Council since 2008 and was executive vice president and chief operating officer at the Trust for Public Land from 2001 to 2008.

During its board meeting in Colusa County this week, the Regional Council of Rural Counties voted to change its name to Rural County Representatives of California to more accurately reflect the organization.

The California Resources Agency and California Emergency Agency have joined together to release the draft California Climate Change Adaptation Policy Guide, a guidebook to aid regional and local entities in devising strategies to deal with the effects of climate change on local conditions.
