SACRAMENTO, CA – On Wednesday, January 8, Mariposa County Supervisor Miles Menetrey was elevated to serve as First Vice Chair of the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC). “I am deeply grateful to my colleagues for appointing me to RCRC’s 2025 leadership team,” said Supervisor Menetrey. “I look forward to building on our collective successes and advancing the critical needs of our rural communities. Together, we will continue working to ensure that rural California has a strong voice in shaping meaningful policy at both the state and federal levels.”

RCRC’s Board of Directors is headed by four officers composed of elected County Supervisors from the organization’s 40 member counties. Mariposa County has been a member of RCRC since 1976.
